1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Mindrun: LoL Quiz processes information when you use the app. Mindrun is an independent fan project and is not endorsed by Riot Games.
2. Information processed by the app
Mindrun does not currently require an account, login, or registration. The app may process the following limited data:
- Local app data: quiz progress, results, preferences, and other information needed to provide app features. This data may be stored on your device.
- Anonymous app identifier: a randomly generated identifier used to distinguish app installations or users without requiring an account.
- Session and usage data: session identifiers, screens or routes visited, quiz-related events, timestamps, and basic technical information needed to understand whether the app works correctly and how its features are used.
- Information sent voluntarily: information you include when contacting us by email.
Mindrun does not intentionally collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, payment details, or advertising ID through the app unless a future feature clearly asks for such information and this policy is updated first.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- provide quizzes, progress tracking, scoring, and rankings;
- maintain app sessions and app functionality;
- diagnose errors and improve performance;
- understand which features are useful;
- protect the app and its backend services from misuse;
- respond to support messages and feedback.
4. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell personal data. Information may be processed by service providers that host or operate the website, backend, database, or app distribution infrastructure, only as needed to provide and secure Mindrun.
5. Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until it is removed by the app, cleared in your device settings, or the app is uninstalled. Server-side usage data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Mindrun.
6. Data deletion requests
You may request information about deletion of server-side data by emailing contact@mindrun.app. Because the app does not require an account, we may need the anonymous identifier shown or stored by the app to locate related records. Some data may already be anonymous or may not be reasonably linkable to a particular person.
7. Children
Mindrun is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app, its features, or its data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL, and the “Last updated” date will be changed when appropriate.
